Dan Meier’s book signing for "You Drink, I Die"

   Daniel Meier of Caledonia, author of You Drink, I Die (Lulu), autographed copies of his new book on August 31, at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in The Mall at Greece Ridge Center, Long Pond and West Ridge Roads. Meier’s book signing was part of Small Press Night, an event featuring local authors.

   You Drink, I Die chronicles Meier’s life growing up in a home with three alcoholics. The story begins with his alcoholic father’s death and ends with his road to forgiveness and healing. Each chapter contains a short story about his life and the impact of alcoholism on it. Each of the chapters illustrates a particular aspect of living with the disease in the hopes of inspiring dialogue and healing.

   Meier teaches American History, psychology and sociology at Caledonia-Mumford High School.
