Alex Yaniro, a Section V Soccer All Star, will travel to Europe this spring, April 13 to 20, to compete in the Eurosports Network Soccer All-Stars program. As an outstanding player, Yaniro joins many other All Stars in representing Section V, New York State and the U.S.A. in Europe. Yaniro is a senior at Caledonia-Mumford High School. Encouraged by his father, Vincent, he's been playing soccer since he was old enough to walk. He played Chili and Caledonia Youth Soccer and was a midfielder on the CM Red Raiders Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. He is attending Genesee Community College in the fall where he plans to play on the Men's Soccer team. The Eurosports Soccer All Stars teams will travel to Amsterdam, Germany and Holland where they will play in the Geusselt Cup, Holland's largest youth soccer tournament. In addition to plenty of time on the soccer field, the athletes will have the opportunity to experience the cultural and history of Europe.
