Geneseo @ Cal Mum Senior Night: Seniors Kelly O’Dell and Bailey McCombs were honored as in a pre-game ceremony. They then went out and help the Raiders take a 3 set victory from the Geneseo Blue Devils 25-19, 25-14 25-19. Kelly had a career high 30 digs and Bailey added 2 aces and 8 kills to the effort. Mackenzie Mynter back from her injury added a career high 38 assists and 9 aces, Bridgette Fortner had 10 kills and Rachelle Barbis added 11 digs. Cal-Mum finishes the year 9-11 and will participate in sectionals as a #7 seed with a match on Wednesday October 29 at a site to be determined. It is the Lady Raiders 1st sectional appearance in a couple of years so come on out and cheer them on. By the way we made in excess of $1700.00 in our fund raising event for Breast Cancer Research

Mum Bloomfield @ Cal Mum: The Bombers won in straight sets 25-11, 25-16, 25-20. Cal Mum was led by Angela Clary with 8 digs and Amanda Young with 4 blocks. Cal Mum is now 8-11 overall.
Perry @ Cal Mum Perry came out with a 4 set victory over the Raiders 23-25, 25-15, 25-16, 25-15. Leading the way for the Raiders were Auriel Anderson with digs, Amanda Young with 2 blocks and 6 kills. Senior Kelly O’Dell stepped in as the setter when Mackenzie Mynter injured her back in the 3rd game and did a great job. Cal Mum falls to 8-10 overall.

Mum Cal Mum came out on top of a division matchup against the Golden Gophers 25-14, 26-24 & 25-22. Cal Mum Stat leaders were Mackenzie Mynter 9 aces & 15 digs, Joanne Kruchten 5 blocks and Angela Clary with 4 kills and 6 digs. Cal Mum improves to 8-9 overall 4-4 league. |

Cal-Mum @ Geneseo The Lady Raiders visited Geneseo tonight for a non-league match. Cal Mum pulled out the 4 set win by the scores of 25-23, 17-25, 27-25 & 25-21. Outstanding play by both teams. Julia King had 15 digs, Kelly O’Dell had 24 digs, Amanda Young contributed 4 blocks and 2 aces and 3 kills, Crystal Jones had 4 blocks, 4 aces and 8 kills, Mackenzie Mynter had 19 assists, 19 digs, 6 aces and 8 kills. Cal Mum returns to action at home Friday against Pavilion.

The Dig Pink event at Cal Mum. The match was really secondary to what went on throughout the evening. Breast Cancer survivors in attendance were recognized with flowers given to them by the players. The generous faculty, students and faculty from Avon & Cal Mum pushed us over or goal of $500.00 for Breast cancer research. Bob Pullyblank was the guest MC and did a fantastic job in his first attempt at volleyball. I would like to thank the Parents of Cal Mum Volleyball for the hard work they put in arranging this event, Mark Riggi for his generous donation of pink uniform shirts for the JV & Varsity teams, Subway, Daffies, JB Sports and the Market for their contributions to the event. Oh yeah Avon won the match 25-13, 25-21 and 25-18. Cal Mum standouts were Mackenzie Mynter with 7 aces and 9 digs and Kelly O’Dell with 7 digs. Cal-Mum The Lady Raiders pulled out a five set victory over the Kendall Eagles. The Eagles won the first two sets 25-17, 25-14, The Lady Raiders stormed back with 3 straight wins 25-14, 25-17, 25-13. Top performers for the Raiders were Freshman Crystal Jones 5 aces and 5 kills, Senior Bailey McCombs 10 digs and 2 kills and Senior Kelly O’Dell with 24 digs. Cal Mum is now 3-3 league and 6-8 overall. |

Cal-Mum Cal Mum was in action tonight against the Keshequa Indians. The Lady Raiders came out on the short end of the three game match losing 25-16, 25-22, & 25-20. The Raiders are back in action on Saturday 10/11 @ home against the Kendall Eagles, JV starts at 12 noon. Stats for the game Angela Clary 3 Aces
Cal-Mum @ LeRoy The Cal Mum Lady Raiders defeated the Leroy Lady Knights in a division II match at Leroy tonight. It was a hard fought contest with Leroy winning the first two games 25-16 & 25-20. The Lady Raiders took the next three games by identical scores of 25-21. Freshman Crystal Jones was pulled up from JV because two of the three varsity middles were unable to play performed awesome with 9 blocks and 6 kills. Mackenzie Mynter totaled 11 assists, 6 aces, 26 digs and 7 kills, Bridgette Fortner had 16 digs and Kelly O’Dell had 28 digs in 3 games. Cal Mum’s record improves to 3-3 league and 5-7 overall Cal Mum will be in action again at Home Thursday 10/9 against the Keshequa Indians.
Cal-Mum @ York Cal-Mum lost a hard fought 4 game match to York on Monday Night. Cal-Mum took the 1st game 25-22 then lost the next 3; 25-13, 25-16, & 25-12. The scores don’t indicate how hard the matches were. The rallies were fantastic all night long and York just came out on top. The Raiders have this week off and then are back in action on October 7th against division rival Leroy at Leroy. Don’t forget the date October 14th at Cal-Mum for our 1st annual Dig Pink event to support breast cancer research. The match is against the Avon Braves.
