Bill McAlee
 
        Bill began his coaching career in Caledonia Mumford in 1973 and continued 15 years to 1987.  He came to Cal Mum after a highly successful program at St. Mary's in Pennsylvania.  Bill has the highest winning percentage of any coach at Cal Mum.  On April 2nd, Bill was inducted into the 1st annual Section V Football Hall of Fame.

        I remember my thoughts of Bill's first season.  How was this new guy from Pennsylvania going to contribute to the great Institution that was "Cal Mum" Football?  I can still see in my minds eye, that 1st game, when we scored our 1st touchdown, and Coach "Mac" was in the middle of the field "hugging" the running back and cheering the team.  I knew that the "Institution" was in good hands.  My next fondest memory was a "golf trip" to Santee, South Carolina with Coach "Mac", Coach Ed Matthews and friend, Chuck Sixour.  Nine days of non stop Cal Mum Football stories, I was in "heaven".  Whatta country!!!!!
