Have you served in military combat?
Consider membership in VFW Post 10844

Caledonia VFW Post 10844 would like to remind all combat veterans in the community of the benefits of membership in your local Veterans of Foreign Wars organization.

There is a common bond that exists between the men and women who have shared the military experience in battle: A shared sense of duty and a common belief in a cause higher than self. Our nations' veterans chose to serve and by doing so, assumed all the risks associated with maintaining freedom. VFW members are here because they understand the true essence of America and its ideals and beliefs and the price they paid to be eligible to join the ranks of the VFW.

To be eligible the applicant had to have served in a authorized VFW hostile combat campaign. Combat service medals are listed on the VFW web site www.vfw.org . The separation document or DD 214 MUST reflect campaign medal service to establish eligibility. Service in Korea without the issuance of a campaign medal can be established with additional support documentation. Hostile Fire or Imminent Danger Pay can be established with pay records.
