Four Cal-Mum students place in GCC Tech Wars Four Cal-Mum High School students entered projects and placed in the 2008 Genesee Community College Tech Wars competition for the G.L.O.W. region. All four are students in Mr. James Wolbert's Principals of Engineering class and entered projects in the auto cad category of the competition.
This was the first year of the Tech Wars competition. The goal of this event is to allow students to take what they learn in the Technology classrooms and compete in a hands-on educational yet fun program. In the overall high school point totals, Dansville CS placed second and York CS placed third. In the overall middle school point totals, York CS tied for first place.
