Chris Roll selected to
the National Soccer Coaches
Roll, captain of his team, calls himself competitive. "I like to get the job done on the field and I enjoy playing the game. As a captain, I like working with the other people and keeping the team together," he commented. He approaches education in a similar way. He took college courses at Roberts Wesleyan College while completing his high school studies at CM. "I pushed myself to gain as much as I could from Cal-Mum and anywhere else that I took courses," Roll said. He credits his soccer coach, Mr. McQuillan, with being a great motivator who kept the team focused while showing them how to have a good time and keep their attitudes positive. Roll plans to enter college in the fall 2008 to study mechanical engineering.
