Chris Roll selected to the National Soccer Coaches
Association of America Adidas Scholar All East Team

Senior Christopher Roll was selected in January 2008 to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Adidas Scholar All East Team. Roll was selected for this honor for his outstanding soccer play in the fall 2007 season and his tremendous work in the classroom all school year, said his soccer Coach Brian McQuillan.

Roll, captain of his team, calls himself competitive. "I like to get the job done on the field and I enjoy playing the game. As a captain, I like working with the other people and keeping the team together," he commented.

He approaches education in a similar way. He took college courses at Roberts Wesleyan College while completing his high school studies at CM.

"I pushed myself to gain as much as I could from Cal-Mum and anywhere else that I took courses," Roll said.

He credits his soccer coach, Mr. McQuillan, with being a great motivator who kept the team focused while showing them how to have a good time and keep their attitudes positive.

Roll plans to enter college in the fall 2008 to study mechanical engineering.
