36 entries in the 2007 Cub Scout Pinewood Derby

   Cub Scout Pack 27 competed in the annual Pinewood Derby on Saturday, January 20, 2007. Thirty six cars were entered in the double elimination contest.

   The scouts design and make their own vehicle according to predetermined length and weight requirements. The design detail is up to the individual scout and the vehicles are judged for appearance in addition to their race speeds. Cubmaster David Ebersole says everyone had a great time creating their car and participating in the Pinewood Derby. Winners are as follows:

   Best Looking

  • 1st place – Dixon Robbin
  • 2nd place – Joe Butler
  • 3rd place – Justin Castronovo

   Fastest

  • 1st place – Dylan Miller
  • 2nd place – Matt Condame
  • 3rd place – Pat Ingersoll
