William H. Robertson

   William H. Robertson, 86, of Smith Street, Mumford died at Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia on October 4, 1998 following a long illness. Born in Mumford on January 9, 1912, the son of Henry and Mae (Kime) Robertson.

   Predeceased in August of 1997 by his wife Josephine M. Robertson. Survived by his four son and daughter-in-laws: William Jr. of North Chili, Donald and Marion of LeRoy, Robert and Diane, Richard and Susan, both of Caledonia. Sisters: Eva Burson of Florida, Dorothy Pullyblank of Mumford, and Marion Friend of Syracuse. 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson Todd Patrick Robertson and great-grandson Jacob Loscombe.

   Mr. Robertson was retired from General Motors in Rochester. Bill was an avid sports fan his entire life, he played baseball for many years and was often seen proudly wearing his NY Yankee cap.

   Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 7, 1998 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Alhart Funeral Home. A private service and burial will be held at Mumford Rural Cemetery.
