William H. Lucas Jr.

   William H. Lucas Jr., 85, of Center Street died at his home on November 24, 1998 following a long illness. Born October 30, 1912 in Avon, NY the son of Henry William and Penelope (Smith) Lucas.

   He is survived by his wife; Mamie (Bostick) Lucas, Caledonia. Son and daughter-in-law; William H. III and Thelma Lucas, Rochester, Granddaughter; Sherri Renee Sanders, Grandson; Keith Powell Lucas, Great Grandsons; William Brent Lucas and Keith William Brent Lucas and Great Granddaughter; Morgan Renee Lucas.

   Mr. Lucas was a retired machinist for Ritter Sybron of Rochester, a dental supply company.

   Friends may call Friday, November 27, 1998, 2-4 and 7-9 P.M, at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street. A Service will be held Saturday, November 28, 1998, 2: 00 PM at the Second Baptist Church, Mumford, Reverend Dr, Charles Thurman officiating.

   Burial will be in Mumford Rural Cemetery, Mumford, NY
