William E. Holliday

   William Edward Holliday, 56, of 60 White Oak Drive, Southington , Conneticut died December 29th 1998 at Bradley Memorial Hospital. He was the fiancée of Cindy Davis. He was born Oct. 29, 1942, in Caledonia, the son of Nancy (Nims) Holiday and the late William J. Holliday. He had been employed at Aenta Life Casualty for 33 years and was presently employed at Travelers of Hartford as director of National Property Personal Lines. Mr. Holliday attended high school in Caledonia and graduated Alfred University in Alfred N.Y. in 1964. He was the a member of the Freehold N.Y. Volunteer Fire Department and attended St. Thomas Church in Southington.

   Besides his mother and fiancée, he is survived by three daughters, Doris Holliday of Southington, Deborah Holliday of Famington and Sarah Holliday of Scottsville, N.Y. his stepchildren, Shane and Justin Lamontagne, Walter and Ryan Margelot, all of Southington; his sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Anne and Robert Rood of Montpelier, Vt.; two grandchildren, Brett and Brooke Palmer; a step-grandson, Christian Lamontagne; two nephews, Jeffrey and Jon Rood and his fiancée’s children, Christian Davis of Idaho and Heidi Davis of Maine.

   The funeral was held Jan. 2 from the Della Vecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington, Ct. to St. Thomas Church. Burial will be in the spring at St. Columba Cemetery in Caledonia, N.Y.
