Virginia D. Decker Virginia D. Decker, 76, of Caledonia died October 4,1999 at Highland Hospital in Rochester after a short illness. Virginia was born November 29, 1922 in Athol, MA, the daughter of Bertram and Clarissa (Dyer) Dugan. Virginia served in the US Navy during World War II. She is predeceased by husband, William R. Decker, sister; Teresa and brother Bertram. Virginia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Kathleen and Thomas Shero: son, William R. Decker II; brother an sister-in-law; Carlton and Janice Dugan; grandchildren, Melissa (Mark) Savino, Todd (Lois) Shero, Kathryn Decker and Dillon Decker, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends attended a Memorial Mass Saturday, October 9,1999 at 11:00 AM at St. Agnes Church, Avon, Officiating the Mass was Reverend Gerald Hafner. A private interment was held.
