Sam Andolora Sam Andolora, age 88 years, of Caledonia died March 27, 2003 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a long illness. He was born March 6, 1915 in LeRoy to Louis and Lena (Maisana) Andolora. Sam retired from General Crushed Stone in LeRoy as a mechanic. During WWII, Sam volunteered as a chef at Sampson AFB. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, gardening, music, but mostly spending time with his family. Sam is survived by his wife of 63 years; Louise (Rapone) Andolora; daughters and sons-in-law; Lena and Charles Daniels of Perry, Therese and David Fisher of Churchville; grandchildren; David (Mary), Jennifer (Frank), Jim (Colleen), Jody (Kerry) Fisher; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Stotts, Pearl (Joe) Privitera; brother, Michael (Edith) Andolora; sisters-in-law, Mary Andolora and Marge Bower; several nieces and nephews. His brothers, Joseph and Phillip and sisters, Sarah and Josephine predecease him. Friends called Saturday 7-9 P.M. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. His Funeral Mass was held Monday, 11 A.M. at St. Columba Church, Caledonia. Interment was at St. Columba Cemetery.
