Robert W. Hughes, age 44 years, of Mumford, died November 7, 2001 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was horn on August 22, 1957 in Batavia to John Anthony and Juanita (Bishop) Hughes. Rob was employed at Eastman Kodak in Rochester for 25 years and a member of St. Columba Church. In his free time, Rob enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley-Davison motorcycle. He is survived by his mother, Juanita Hughes of Caledonia; sisters and brothers-in-law; Phyllis and Jerry Powers of LeRoy, Joan and Geoff Oravec of Waterport, Denise and Roger DeWitt of Scottsville, brothers and sisters-in-law; Mike and Camille Hughes of Allegany, William and Becky Hughes of Caledonia; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

   Friends called Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home. His Funeral Mass was held, Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Columba Church.
