Rita E. Stevenson

   Rita E. Stevenson, age 81 years, of Caledonia died February 23, 2002 at the home of her daughter in Avon. She was born March 3, 1920 in Avon, NY to Charles E. and Agnes (Dooley) Barber. Rita was a homemaker and worked briefly as a real estate agent for Mack Reality, and the former Dinion Coil. Rita was a member of St. Columba Church and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; James and Patricia Stevenson of Rochester, daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Justin Randall of Avon, Gail and LaVern Heale of Caledonia, Pamela and John Rowland of Oviedo, FL, Linda and Robert Barrows of Caledonia, 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, sister, Elizabeth (William) Remaley of Avon, several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Robert; son, Noel; daughter, Martha and grandson, Steven Cameron predecease her.

   Friends called Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home. Her Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, 11:00 AM at St. Columba Church, Caledonia. A spring interment at Machpelah Cemetery in LeRoy.  Memorials may be made to the Livingston County Hospice, 2 County Campus, Mt.
