Richard D. Wilson Sr., age 73 years, of Mumford/LeRoy died October 1, 2003 at Parkridge Hospital in Rochester. He was born October 26, 1929 in Rochester to Ernest J. and Madeline (Ward) Wilson. Richard was a retired salesman for Taylor Instruments in Rochester. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion Post #0576 in LeRoy. Richard was a lifetime member of the Oatka Fish & Game Club in LeRoy, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and bird watching. He was a volunteer for the Salvation Army. Richard is survived by his wife, Martha (Booth) Wilson of LeRoy; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and David Burk of East Bethany; sons and daughters-law, Wayne and Helen Wilson of Mumford, Richard Jr. and Jessica Wilson of Scottsville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Rita Wilson of FL, and brother; Donald (Ann) Wilson of OR.

   Friends called Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. His Funeral Mass was held Monday, 11 AM at St. Columba Church, Caledonia. Interment was held at St. Columba Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 2113 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624.
