Racine B. Purvis

   Racine B. Purvis of State Street died on Friday, July 9, 1999 at GRHCA Hospice, St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester after a short illness, The daughter of Jay Brown and Helen (Weeks) Bostwick, Racine was born November 10, 1902 in Caledonia. Racine was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star.

   Racine is survived by her daughters: Jeanne (Don) Chapin, Scottsdale, AZ, Corine Coates, Scottsville, grandchildren: Joanne (Bill) Birch, Janet (Don) Kriss, Jon Scott Chapin, Jay (Jacqueline) Coates, Jyl (Mattew) Martinez, 8 great grandchildren; nieces, Betty (Monroe) Evans, Hammondsport, and Germaine Bostwick, Caledonia; many grand nieces and nephews, She is predeceased by her husband; Louis R. Purvis.

   Friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Sunday, July 18, 1999 at 2 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, West Main Street, Caledonia. A Private interment will be held at Mumford Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 3080 West Main Street, Caledonia, NY or The Caledonia Ambulance, P.O. Box 1, Caledonia, NY 14423.
