Rachel E. Luckenbach

   Rachel E. Luckenbach, age 73 years, of Caledonia died suddenly on May 7, 2004 at her home in Caledonia. She was born December 3, 1930 in Johnsonburg, PA to Chester and Cleta (Wheeland) Salada. Rachel retired from Allen Bailey Tag Company in Caledonia. She was a member of the Caledonia Seniors, the Friendship Circle at the York United Presbyterian Church; she also enjoyed sewing, cooking and her friends. Rachel is survived by her daughters; Leona (Steven) Linder of Caledonia, Nancy (Raymond) Tompkins of Prattsburg, NY, Joyce (Tim) Laursen of Canandaigua; son, Larry Luckenbach (Dawn Barretta) of LeRoy; sister, Alfreda Burkovich of Rochester; brother, Raymond Salada of Perry; aunt, Charlotte Curry of DuBois, PA; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Francis Luckenbach in 1997.

   Friends called Monday, May 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia, where her Funeral Service was held Tuesday, May 11 at 11:00 AM.
