Peter J. Tucci Jr.

   Peter J. Tucci Jr. age 81 years, of Caledonia died April 5, 2007 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Batavia. He was born January 7, 1926 in Rochester to Susie and Peter J. Tucci Sr. Mr. Tucci served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the Matthew Cleary Post 255, Caledonia. He worked as a truck driver for Dolomite in Gates, NY. Mr. Tucci volunteered for the Caledonia Fire Department during the Fireman’s Carnivals. He and was a member of St. Columba Church, A-ON-DO-WA-NUH Sportsman’s Club, and enjoyed bowling and earned a ring from the National Bowling League for a 298 game. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Evelyn; daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Robert Stella of Caledonia; son and daughter-in-law, Peter L. and Christina Tucci of LeRoy; grandchildren, R.J. (Becky) Stella and Mason Butler; great-granddaughters, Kyra and Meghan Stella; sisters, Louise "Elsie" Panepento of LeRoy, Carm (Robert) Callari of FL, Teresa (DeForest) Truman of Caledonia; brother, Archie Tucci of Hamlin; several nieces and nephews.

    Friends called Tuesday (April 10th) 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. His Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, (April 11th) 10 AM at St. Columba Church. Interment at St. Columba Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Batavia VA Medical Center Hospice Fund, 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020
