Milton C. Crane

   Milton C. Crane, 83, died June 24, 2000 at the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility in Mt. Morris after a long illness. He was born September 6, 1916 in Bath, NY to Joseph and Thirza (Roe) Crane. Milton retired from Valley Sand and Gravel in Scottsville as a crane operator. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Stone Church in Caledonia and the Engineer's Union. Milton served in the United States Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Helen, Caledonia, sons and daughters-in-law; Jack and Sandy, Scottsville, Charles and Susan, Scottsville, Jeffrey, Caledonia, Bradley and Karen Crane, LeRoy, daughter, Allison Crane, Caledonia, grandchildren; Jamie Hale, Christopher, Andrew, Jennifer, Charles, Robert, and Joshua Crane; great-grandchildren; Austin and Aleisha Hale; brother Joseph (Ruth) Crane, Cameron, NY, several nieces and nephews.

   Friends called Monday, June 26, 7-9 P.M. at the Alhart Funeral Home. Milton's Funeral Service was held Tuesday, June 27, 1:00 P.M, at the United Stone Presbyterian Church, Caledonia. Officiating the service was Reverend Merl Galusha. Interment was held at Mumford Rural Cemetery, Mumford.
