Mildred Roger, age 93 years, of York died peacefully May 24, 2003 surrounded by her family and friends entered into eternal rest. She was born March 17, 1910 in Evans City, PA to Harvey J. and Margaret (Reichley) Leonberg. Mildred served at the Red Cross as a volunteer for 44 years. She was a member of the Bible Club at the York Town Hall. She also volunteered at the VA hospital in Batavia and raised money for less fortunate children to attend summer camp. She is predeceased by her husband, Stanley; daughter, Dianne; son, Harvey; grandchildren, Susan Bennett and David Rodger. Mildred is survived by her sons, Stanley (Gladys) Rodger and Mark Rodger, 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great children.

   Friends and family called Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street in Caledonia. Interment was held Friday, 11 AM at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York. A Memorial Service was held Saturday, 2 PM at Cornerstone Chapel, 3231 Buffalo Road, Rochester, 14624. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Camp Li-Lo-Li, C/O Cornerstone Chapel.
