Mary E. Roffe

   Mary Roffe, 79, of Keenan Place, Caledonia died suddenly April 16, 1999 at Strong Memorial Hospital. Born September 13, 1919 in Nunda, the daughter of Wilber and Margery (Baker) Roffe.

   She is survived by her children, J.D., Caledonia, Margery (Chris) Swarts, Dansville, Philip (Judith Stork), Batavia, Sid, Caledonia, and Mindy Paladino, Caledonia. Nine grandchildren and a sister, Esther Barnett, Big Flats, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, John Roffe.

   Mrs. Roffe was a retired teacher from York Central School, Alumnae, Geneseo Normal School, and a member of York Presbyterian Church.

   Calling Hours were held Sunday, April 18, 1999, from 2-4 P.M, and 7-9 P.M. at the Alhart Funeral Home. A Service was held Monday, April 19, 1999 at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Reverend Neil Frood Officiating. Burial will be Private.
