Mary K. Carlin of Avon died December 12, 2003 at the Teresa House in Geneseo. She was born November 6, 1931 in Wayland, NY to Victor M. and Sarah (Connor) Kimmel. Mary was a kindergarten teacher at the Avon Central School for 24 years. She was a member of St. Agnes Church for 45 years and active in the Martha’s Ministry, and a member of the Avon Retired Teachers Luncheon Group. Mary is survived by her husband; Robert F. Carlin of Avon; daughter and son-in-law, Mary E. and Peter Lathron of Avon; granddaughters, Valerie and Jacqueline; brothers and sisters-in-law, Victor M. and Jane, John R. and Mary Kimmel; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Her father and mother, Victor M. and Sarah Kimmel predeceases her.

   Friends called Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. 350 Genesee Street, Avon. Her Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, 9:30 AM, St. Agnes Church, Avon.
