Marlene B. Ellinwood, age 68 years, of Caledonia, died suddenly on April 6, 2003 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She was born May 14, 1934 in Rochester to Frederick W. and Harriett (Sargent) Brandt. Marlene retired from Cooper Vision in Scottsville. She served as an elections inspector, and enjoyed bingo, Nascar, and her family. She is survived by her children, Laurie Ellinwood, Beth (John) White, Jeffrey Ellinwood, Philip (Lori) Ellinwood, Megan Ellinwood, Jennifer Nicometo, Peter (Corette) Ellinwood; grandchildren, Heather (Jeffrey) Fox, Jessica Ellinwood; and 17 other grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Germaine Smith. Her husband, H. Guy Ellinwood predeceases Marlene.

   Friends called 2-4 and 7-9 P.M., Wednesday, April 9 at Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia where her Funeral Service was held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 10. Officiating the service was Reverend Kirk Dudek. A private interment was held. Memorials may be made to the Caledonia Fire Department, P.O. Box 1, Caledonia, NY 14423.
