Marjorie W. Grattan, age 75 years, of Clifton died December 16, 2003 at the Benincasa Hospice in Mendon, NY. She was born September 9, 1928 in Naples, NY to Leon and Louise (Jennings) Washburn. Marjorie enjoyed sewing, needlework, and bowling. She was a member of the Clifton Baptist Church, Ladies Craft Group, the Clifton Ladies Auxiliary, and the Eastern Star, Caledonia Eunice Lodge. Marjorie was an Honoree for her dedication to the Caledonia-Mumford Youth Baseball organization. She especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sports activities. Marjorie is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law; Richard and Linda, Ronald and Robin, Randy and Donna Grattan all of Caledonia; nine grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Sam Serio of Mumford; brother, Robert Washburn, of Henrietta; several nieces and nephews. Her husband, George Grattan Jr. predeceased Marjorie in 1997.

   Friends called Sunday, 2-5 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. Her Funeral Service was held Monday, 11:00 AM at the Clifton Baptist Church.
