Marion C. Nobles Marion C. "Stub" Nobles, age 86 years, of Caledonia died March 29, 2006 at the Teresa House in Geneseo. The son of William A. and Gladys Nobles, Stub was born October 10, 1919 in Whitesville, NY. He retired from Lapp Insulator in LeRoy. He is survived by his children, Laurelie (Alan) Sickles, Claude "Butch" (Kim), Merville Nobles; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. His wife, Ruth and son, Charles Nobles predeceases Marion. Friends called Saturday, April 1, from 2-4 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia where his funeral service followed at 4 PM. A private interment was held at Mumford Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Road, Geneseo, NY 14454 or the Caledonia Ambulance, PO Box 3, Caledonia, NY 14423.
