Marion Nixon Marion Nixon, age 78 years, of Caledonia died March 21, 2001 at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born February 23, 1923 in Avon to John and Kathryn (Thurley) Brennan, She is survived by her sisters, Betty Snyder, Gracie Brennan, Doris Hyde, all of Avon; sister-in-law, Ann Bovee, York, brother-in-law, Clyde Thurley, Bergen; two aunts; several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, James Nixon. Friends called Saturday, March 24, 2001 from 1-3 PM and her Funeral Service followed at 3:00 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home. A spring interment will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York. Memorials may be made in Marion's memory to the York Ambulance, PO Box 95, York, NY 14592.
