Marion Shirley Hickey

   Marion Shirley (Smith) Hickey, formerly of Caledonia, died on November 22, 2006 in Gadsden, AL. Born January 15, 1923 in Holland, NY, she was the youngest and last surviving of 6 brothers and 4 sisters. During her lifetime she worked as an LPN at Rochester State Hospital for 20 years. She was an avid sports fan and animal lover. She is predeceased by her husband, William J. Hickey a son, Gerald D. Hickey and daughter, Sandra Marie Hickey Nichols. She is survived by her sons, Patrick (Susan) Hickey, William Niles Hickey and friend Lisa Sisson all of Caledonia; her daughter, Kathryn Born of Gadsden, AL and son-in-law, Michael Nichols of Caledonia; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

   A Graveside Service at the St. Columba Cemetery in Caledonia at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
