Mabel R. Sayers, age 83 years, of Mumford passed away after a short illness on January 4, 2008 at Parkridge Hospital. She was born January 12, 1924 in Clarion, PA to Harry and Edna Hodge. Mrs. Sayers is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Everett; children, Bernice (Bob) Reinhart, E. Richard (Judy), Kenneth (Charlene) Sayers, Sally (Robert) Hanna, Jim (Marlene) Sayers; son-in-law, Robert Kaness;12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many relatives and friends. Her daughter, Robin Kaness predeceases Mrs. Sayers.

   Friends called Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia, where her Funeral Service was held Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment at Mumford Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road North, Rochester, NY 14609.
