Lorraine A. Livermore, age 86 years, of Mumford died November 4, 2001 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. She was born February 16, 1915 in Rochester, NY to Jacob and Anna (Eisman) Metzger. She moved to Mumford in 1945 and worked as a housemother for 7 years at Industry in Rush. Most of her life, Lorraine was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, baking and raising her family. She was a member of the St. Columba Church. Lorraine is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law; Harold Jr. and Carol Livermore of Mumford and Grant and Janice Livermore of Williamson, daughter, Murene Sherman of Mumford, grandchildren, Larry (Tricia) Gere, Laura, Dan (Lori), Chris (Kathie), Tim and Paula Livermore, 8 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Harold T. Livermore, predeceases her.

   There were no prior calling hours. Her Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at 11:00 AM at St. Columba Church in Caledonia. Interment was held at Mumford Rural Cemetery.
