Angelo "Lefty" Cappotelli

   Angelo "Lefty" Cappotelli, 74, of Spring Street died at home on August 24, 1998 following a long illness. Born July 2, 1924 in Caledonia, the son of Frank and Josephine (Rapone) Cappotelli Sr.

   He is survived by his wife of 52 years Helen (Trubia) Cappotelli, daughters and son-in-laws; Janet and Gary Myrick, Karen and Dale Nieswiadomy (Caledonia), and Sandra Powell and Joseph Lewis (Chili). Grandchildren; Tammy and Lisa Myrick and Jason and Jennifer Powell. Great Grandchildren; Keith and Morgan Lucas. Brother and sister-in-laws; Carmine and Mary Cappotelli and Frank and Josephine Cappotelli of Caledonia. Sisters; Clara Inzinna (Avon) and Anna Coleman (Caledonia). Brother-in-law; Dale Ayers of Caledonia. He was predeceased by his sister Christina Ayers.

   Lefty had retired from the Upstate Milk Cooperatives in LeRoy after 32 years of service. He served in the US Army at Mason General Hospital as a ward supervisor, was a member of St. Columba Church and Matthew Cleary Post of the American Legion.

   Friends may call Thursday, August 27, 7-9 and Friday, August 28, 2-4 and 7-9 at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia.

   A funeral mass will be Saturday, August 29, at 11:00 AM at St. Columba Church, Reverend Walter Plominski officiating. Burial in St. Columba Cemetery, Caledonia.
