Larry P. Rapone

    Larry P. Rapone, 62, of Caledonia died February 11, 2000 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born November 22, 1937 in Caledonia to George and Magaline (Taglienti) Rapone. Larry was a devoted hairdresser in Caledonia for 35 years. When his customers were too ill to make their appointment, Larry would go to their home even when he was ill. He enjoyed interior decorating and floral arranging. Larry competed in the United States and Canada with his Yorkshire Terriers and Maltese dogs. He had won awards in both countries. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, customers and members of the community. Larry is survived by his brother and sister-in-law; George and Jean Rapone, sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Thomas Brew, half brothers, Patsy and Donald Rapone, half sister, Shirley William; 5 nieces, 2 nephews, several great-nieces and nephews, and one great, great niece. Predeceased by his mother, Magaline Rapone.

   Friends called Sunday, February 13, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home. His Funeral Mass was held Monday, February 14, 11 AM, at St. Columba Church. Officiating the Mass was Reverend Walter Plominski. Interment was held at St. Columba Cemetery.
