Karen S. Connell, age 39 years, of Clifton, formerly of Caledonia passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on January 7, 2004 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born March 3, 1964 in Schenectady, NY to Ronald and Valerie (Barcomb) Marlow. Karen worked at James S. Sullivan Insurance Company in Scottsville. She loved her family and the holidays. Karen saved many stray cats and animals. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Connell; sons Daniel Jr., and Nicholas both at home; mother and step-father, Valerie and John McGowan of Batavia; 2 sisters, Michele (Mark) Shero, Robin (Kenneth) Kwiecien both of Perry; 2 brothers, Ronald Marlow, Randy (Bev) Marlow both of FL; mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Ann Connell; sister-in-law, Mary Kay and Kevin Connell all of Livonia, brother-in-law, Jim Connell of FL; special nieces and nephews, Larry (Jamie) and their son, Jacob Moroz, Melissa Moroz, Gary, Kacey and Danielle Kwiecien all of Perry; many aunts, uncles and very special and dear friend, Barbara Leach of Caledonia.

   Friends called Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. Her Memorial Mass was held Monday, 10:00 AM at St. Columba Church, Caledonia. A Private Interment will be held at St. Columba Cemetery.
