Judith Waldron Johnston

   Judith Waldron Johnston, age 56 years, of Modesto, CA died Sunday, February 18, 2001 at her home following a long battle with cancer. She was born on August 29, 1944.

   Judy was a native of Ithaca, NY before the Waldron family moved to Caledonia. She graduated from Caledonia-Mumford Central School in 1962. Judy lived in Modesto for 30 years and was an office manager for Sylvan School District for five years.

   She is survived by her husband, Richard Johnston of Modesto; children, Laura Johnston of Encinitas and Jennifer Johnston of Modesto; parents, Robert and Lois Waldron of Clifton Springs, NY; brothers, James (Kathie) Waldron of Chicago, and Donald (Rachel) Waldron of Albany, NY; sisters, Lynn (Arthur) Adams of Tampa, Florida, Janet (Larry) Flynn and Rene (Mark) Kelly, both of Caledonia, Joan Waldron of Los Angeles and Barbara (Dale) Cornish of Saline, Michigan; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother, Caroline and her brother, Robert.

   Friends attended a Memorial Service on March 17 at 2:00 pm at the First United Presbyterian Church in Mumford. Memorials may be made to your local Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
