Joyce E. Fisher

    Joyce E. Fisher, 67, of Wheatland Center Road, Clifton died March 20,1999 at home following a long illness. Born July 27, 1931 in Batavia, the daughter of Francis and Florence (Stoddard) Callan.

    She is survived by her husband, Dean Fisher, Clifton, sons and daughters-in-law: Brian and Marybeth Fisher and Scott and Jean Fisher, daughter: Darlene Fisher, all of Clifton, grandchildren: Daniel, Michael, Troy, Amanda and Patricia. Brothers and sisters-in-law: William and Mildred Callan, Florida, and Gerald and Betty Callan, Caledonia, brother-in-law: Carl Fisher, Honeoye Falls. Several nieces and nephews

   Joyce served 45 years for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Clifton Fire Department and as a Eucharistic Minister at St Columba Church, She assisted with the Chili Board of Elections, and volunteered at the Clifton Baptist Church White Elephant Sale. She was an avid bowler, golfer and dancer.

   Calling Hours were held Tuesday, March 23, 1999, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was held on March 24, 1999 at St Columba Church, Caledonia. Reverend Walter Plominski officiating. Burial will be at Maplegrove Cemetery in Clifton.
