John Duncan MacPherson

   John Duncan MacPherson passed away in Burlington, Ontario on Thursday, May 5, 2005 in his 82nd year. Born in Caledonia, the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. Peter McPherson. Predeceased by his brother, George and his sister, Jane Davies. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Graham MacPherson of Burlington, Ontario; his nephew, Bruce Davies of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; his niece, Deborah McCoy (Greg) of Yucaipa, CA.; his great-niece, Sarah McCoy of San Diego, CA. He was known to his friends as "Mickey" and lived most of his life in Caledonia. He was a participant in and later a Booster of the Caledonia-Mumford Central School Football Program and was inducted into its Hall of Fame in 1994. A WWII Veteran serving in the Air Force in the Aleutian Islands. He retired from Delco Products in 1980 after 35 years of service.

   A Memorial Service was held at the Caledonia United Presbyterian Stone Church on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 11 AM. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Caledonia United Presbyterian Stone Church.
