John E. Mack

   John E. Mack, 85, of East Rochester, formally of Caledonia, died August 13, 1998 at St. Mary’s Hospital following a long illness. Born December 3, 1912, in Caledonia, the son of John A. and Elizabeth Shingller Mack.

   John is survived by his wife, Margaret Bunting Mack, three grandchildren: Jim Peck of Penfield, John peck of Batavia and Judy Peck Quenell of Brighton. Five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth and Wally Peck.

   Mr. Mack was retired from AKZO Salt in Retsof with 28 years of service.

   No prior calling hours, a service was held on Saturday, August 15 th at Alhart Funeral Home. Private burial at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York, NY.
