John R. Courtney

    John R. Courtney, age 61 years, of Mumford died October 17, 2005 at Highland Hospital in Rochester after a long battle with cancer. He was born September 12, 1944 in Pensacola, FL to Edwin and Mary Courtney. John worked for Joseph A. Bank in Rochester as a manager. He is survived by his wife, Gail, sons and daughter-in-law, Chris and Christine and Matthew Courtney, 1 brother and 3 sisters, several nieces and nephews.

    Friends called Thursday, October 19 from 5-8 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia where his funeral service was held Friday, October 20 at 3:00 PM. A private interment was held at Mumford Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
