John Murray Beaumont

   John M. Beaumont, age 54 years, of Caledonia died February 14, 2005 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born April 15, 1950 in Warsaw to Melva (Sally) and James Beaumont Jr. John worked in production at Fisher Scientific in Rochester. As a young man, John played on a softball and bowling league. He helped the Cal-Mum J.V. and Varsity Football "chain gang", assisted with the youth wrestling program, coached youth baseball, and served on the Community Youth Football board and has been a loyal spectator of Cal-Mum football and wrestling. He collected baseball cards, loved reading science fiction, and enjoyed his family. John is survived by his loving wife, Wendy (Kader); children, Melissa of Rochester, John J. of East Rochester, and James Beaumont of Caledonia; sisters, Jacqueline (James) Fancher of NC, Louise (Dennis) Cornelius of Gouverneur, NY; brother, Daniel Beaumont of Corfu; sister-in-law, Bonnie Beaumont of NC. His brother, James Beaumont III predeceased John.

   Friends called Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia where his Funeral Service was held Thursday at 1 PM. Reverend Robert Keeley officiated. A private interment. Memorials may be made to the Caledonia Ambulance, PO Box 3, Caledonia, NY 14423.
