Joseph H. Sullivan Joseph H. Sullivan, age 84 years, of Caledonia died March 14, 2006 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. He was born July 31, 1921 in Pawcatuck, CT to John L. and Anna Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the Matthew Cleary Post 255 in Caledonia. He worked as a chemical engineer for Jones Chemicals in Caledonia before his retirement. Mr. Sullivan was a 4th Degree Knight for the Fr. William Devereaux, Council 7980 of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of St. Columba, Caledonia. Together with his wife, Grace, Mr. Sullivan was recently recognized by the Rochester Catholic Diocese as the longest married catholic couple in the Rochester Diocese. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Grace; daughter, Margaret (Richard) LaFore of Midland, MI; sons, Brian (Paulette) of Palm Harbor, FL, Patrick (Amy) of E. Hampton, Sean (Jean) Sullivan of Mumford, NY; 8 grandchildren; brother, John Sullivan of Atlanta, GA; several nieces and nephews. Friends called Friday, March 17, 2006, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia where a Knights of Columbus Service was held at 7 PM that evening. His Funeral Mass was held, Saturday, 2:00 PM at St. Columba Church, North Street, Caledonia with interment that followed at St. Columba Cemetery.
