James E. Jackson Jr.

   James E. Jackson Jr., age 65 years, of Rochester and formally of Caledonia died Friday, July 2, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife, Kennetha C. Jackson; a devoted daughter, Nicole Jackson (Seante Wright); 3 grandchildren, Amber Jackson-Hanna, LaShaunte and Jamea Wright of Rochester, NY; sisters, Ann (Paul) Day, Terri (Steve) Wilson and Meta Washington all of Caledonia, NY; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Lillian) Comer of New York City; aunt, Maxine (Edward) Micheaux of Caledonia, NY; uncle, Manuel (Hattie) Welch of Leroy, NY; 5 nephews, 4 nieces; a host of church and fraternal family. He was a member of Pennington-Moye VFW Post and Flower City Lodge # 91 I.B.P.O.E. of W. At his demise, he was the Grand Commanding General of the Antler Guard Dept. of the I.B.P.O.E. of W.

   Friends called Friday, July 9, 2004 from 5-9 PM at Baber A.M.E. Church, 550 Meigs Street. A VFW Service was held at 6:30 PM, Elks Fraternal Services followed. His Funeral Service was held at 11:00 AM, Rev. Norvel Goff Sr. officiating. Interment at Grove Place Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Baber A.M.E. Church Building Fund, 550 Meigs Street, Rochester, NY 14607. Arrangements by Serenity Hill's Funeral Chapel Inc., 770 East Main Street, Rochester.
