James R. Beavers, age 73 years, died June 6, 2001 at his hone in Caledonia after a short illness. He was born December 11, 1927 in Rochester to Raymond and Heloise (Nixon) Beavers. James was a millman supervisor for Axelrod Wood Products in Rochester until his retirement. After retirement James worked for PJ's Used Cars & Auto Parts in Caledonia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lorraine (Tindall) Beavers, children; Marie (Dale) Snyder, Albion, James M. Beavers, Caledonia, Kathleen A. Beavers, Bath, four grandchildren; Anita and Tiffany Snyder, and Megan and Timothy Beavers, sister; Barbara (Richard) Cole, Penfield, brother; Edward (Helen) Beavers, Palmyra, many nieces and nephews.

   Friends called Saturday, June 9, 2-4 and 6-8 PM with his Funeral Service following at 8 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home. A graveside service was held on Sunday, June 10 at 4 PM at Transit Cemetery, Albion.
