Jill Grant, age 44 years, of Caledonia died August 16, 2001 at GRHCA St. Mary's Hospital, Hospice in Rochester after short illness. She was born February 9, 1957 in Norwich, England to Edward and Doreen (Ryder) Baker. Jill worked for the Visiting Nurse Service in Webster. In 1994, at a ceremony held in Albany, Jill was awarded as The Health Aide of the Year. Her family, and many friends will miss her great sense of humor and wit. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Grant of Caledonia, mother, Doreen Harber of England; sisters, Linda Starling; and Susan Willis, both of England; mother-in-law and father-in-law; Ronald and Ann Grant of Caledonia, niece, Carrie Webb and nephew, Neil Willis of England; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Ronald and Denise Grant of Caledonia, Terry and Mary Grant of York, Tim and Heather Grant of SC, former spouse, Larry Grant, of SC; nieces and nephews, David and Allison Grant, Danny and Ashley Grant, three great nieces.

   Friends called Sunday, 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service was held Monday at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 3080 West Main Street, Caledonia. Officiated by Reverend Nancy Reinert. Interment was held at Mumford Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Family OR GRHCA Hospice, 70 Metro Park, Rochester, NY 14623.
