Jerome E. Phillips Sr. (Jerry) age 58 years, of Caledonia died May 29, 2002 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. Jerry was born February 14, 1944 in Rochester to Gertrude Phillips. He was a self-employed general contractor. Jerry was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Mumford and enjoyed golfing, sports and his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Linda of Caledonia; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerome Jr. and Kristin Phillips of Buffalo, Jeffrey and Samantha Phillips of Caledonia; five grandchildren, Krystle, Emily, Aaron, Alyssa, Tyler Phillips; brother, Gregory (Alice) Phillips of Hornell; mother-in-law; Leola Majors of Caledonia; brother-in-law, Eldred (Laurie) Majors of Rochester; sister-in-law, Melanie Majors of Caledonia; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Jerry is predeceased by his mother, Gertrude Phillips.

   Friends called Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. His Funeral Service was held Monday at 11 AM at the Second Baptist Church.
