Jeffery T. Sims

   Jeffery T. Sims, age 34 years, died suddenly February 25, 2006 in Mumford, NY. He was born July 21, 1971 in Batavia, NY to Thomas and Carole Sims. Jeff worked as a welder for Rochester Colonial Windows and Doors. He was a devoted father and partner and most wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. His Bocce team, The Hooligans, took first place in the Lake Keller Bocce League. He enjoyed working with his hands, and was refinishing a wooden canoe, that was a high school woodworking project, for future fishing trips with his son. He loved the outdoors, and camping trips to Gravel Ponds with his family. He enjoyed snowmobiling, watching TV sports, and was an avid Bills and Cincinnati Reds fan. He is survived by his daughters, Molly and Madylin; son, Maxwell T.J. and their mother, Rebecca Cornell; his parents, Thomas and Carole Sims; sisters, Sue (Jim) Wood, Nancee (Mark) Maggioli, Linda (Steve) Poole; brother, Mike (Sue) Sims; a special aunt, Jan Holbrook; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. His brother, T.J. predeceases Jeff.

   Friends called Tuesday, February 28, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. His Funeral Service was held Wednesday, March 1, 2006, 11 AM at the United Presbyterian Stone Church, Church Street, Caledonia. A private interment at the convenience of the family.
