Jeanne G. Harrigan

   Jeanne G. Harrigan, age 75 years, of Mumford died October 23, 2004 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. Jeanne was born April 3, 1929 to Thomas and Verna Gates. She wrote the Mumford Society News for the Clarion newspaper and the Caledonia-Mumford community website, volunteered for Strong Memorial Hospital, the Big Springs Museum, and was a literacy volunteer. Jeanne loved her family, cooking, entertaining, reading and traveling. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James; children, Mary, Patrick, Ellen, Margaret; grandchildren, Brendan, Maggie, and Abby; sisters; Louise Oltman and Mildred (Vince) Melfi; many nieces and nephews.

   Friends attended her Memorial Mass, Saturday, 10 AM at St. Peter’s Church, 44 Lake Street in LeRoy. A reception followed at the Caledonia Country Club, Park Place, Caledonia. A private interment was held at St. Columba Cemetery.
