James W. Kennedy Sr.

    James W. Kennedy Sr., 90, of Casey Road, York died January 28^th at the Conesus Nursing Home, Livonia after a long illness. He was born November 21, 1908 in Caledonia the son of Daniel and Agnes (Patterson) Kennedy.

  He was predeceased by his wife Ruth (Davis) Kennedy in 1997. He is survived by daughter Mary Lawrence of Fowlerville, Son James Jr. (Karen) Kennedy of Fowlerville; grandchildren Mary (John) Yasso, John Lawrence Jr, Jamie (Janet) Lawrence, Lezlie Kennedy and James III (Kim) Kennedy; six great grandchildren; sister Rebina Stanton of Florida.

    Mr. Kennedy owned and operated Kennedy Farms in Fowlerville until his retirement several years ago. He enjoyed working with his horses, working on his farm and attending many auctions. Above all he enjoyed and loved his family.

    Calling hours were January 30th at the Alhart Funeral Home, Caledonia where service was also held with. Mr. Harris Wilcox officiating. Burial is at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Fowlerville. Memorials may be made to the York Fire Department Ambulance, PO Box 95, York, NY 14592.
