Gerald T. Callan Gerald T. Callan, age 72 years, of Caledonia died December 4, 2001 at his home after a short illness He was born April 14, 1929 in Batavia, NY to Francis and Florence (Stoddard) Callan. Gerald served in the US Armed Forces from 1950-1952. He worked for B.R. DeWitt Co. in Spencerport as a truck driver for 28 years. Gerald way an avid golfer and had a Hole-in-One on January 8, 1993 at Glen Oaks Golf Course in Clearwater, FL. He won 4 trophies playing shuffleboard. Gerald was a past commander of the VFW Post 6591 in Mumford. He was named National Adie-de-Camp on February 28, 1963. Gerald was a member of the Cal-Mum Football Boosters Club, and a member of AA since June 6, 1987. He enjoyed playing Euchre. Gerald is survived by his wife, Betty of Caledonia; daughters and son-in-law, Karen and Richard White of Leicester, Judy Lawson of York; son, Casey Callan of Caledonia; grandchildren, Casey, Chad and Todd Estabrook, Rich White III, Brandi and Joe Lawson, Kellie, Tim, Jacob and Maggie Callan, brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Millie Callan of Seminole, FL; brother-in-law, Dean Fisher of Clifton. Friends called Friday, December 7, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home. His Funeral Mass was held Saturday, December 8 at 1:00 PM at St. Columba Church. Interment was held at Maplegrove Cemetery in Clifton. Memorials may be made to the Livingston County Hospice, 2 County Campus, Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
