Howard W. Crane, age 88 years, of Caledonia/Canandaigua died December 26, 2003 at his home in Canandaigua. He was born November 3, 1915 in Bliss, NY to Delancy and Mabel (Newton) Crane. Howard worked as a carpenter for the Carpenters Union in Rochester. He is survived by his daughter; Jeanne Crane of Canandaigua; sister, Anna Nelan of York; several nieces and nephews. His wife, Emily Bunting Crane and infant son, Jimmy Crane predeceases Howard.

   Friends called Sunday, December 28, 2003 from 2-5 PM with his service that followed at 5:00 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. A private interment took place at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, York.
