Helen P. Shero

   Helen P. Shero, age 90 years, of Scottsville died January 5, 2008 at her home in Scottsville. She was born March 19, 1917 in Buffalo to Julian and Julianna Gecewicz. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Douglas) Adams, Son, Thomas (Kathleen) Shero; grandchildren, Melissa, Molly and Todd, four great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews. Her husband, John Shero and brothers, Stanley, Edward and Casimer Gecewicz predecease Mrs. Shero.

   Friends called Tuesday, January 8, 2008 from 11:30 to 12:30 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home followed by her Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM at St. Mary the Assumption Catholic Church, 99 Main Street, Scottsville. Interment was held at Holy Angels Cemetery, Scottsville. Memorials may be made to the Wheatland Senior Citizens, 22 Main Street, Scottsville, NY 14546.
